How YOU Can Save the World!

This is how I roll these days! The pic above is a rare selfie I took as I was headed to the grocery store one chilly day. On the real, I hate wearing face masks. The straps irritate the back of my ears, and the mask causes my sunglasses to constantly fog up. And if you know me, you know I always have my sunglasses on when I’m outdoors. But there’s a simple reason I wear the face mask anyway.

Because it’s one of the small things I can do to keep you and the people you care about safe. If I happen to be an asymptomatic carrier of the Coronavirus, wearing a face mask lessens the likelihood that I will unknowingly infect you. And I’m willing to endure chaffed ears and foggy sunglasses to prevent giving you a highly contagious and sometimes fatal virus.

So the next time you go out, please remember that wearing a face mask is not about protecting yourself—it’s about protecting others. And that means the only way for us all to be safe is for us all to protect each other by wearing a face mask. I’ve got your back. I hope you’ve got mine too.
